Miles Becken

Originally from Palm Springs, California, Miles relocated to the Dallas area over a decade ago, bringing with him a lifelong connection to the arts. Raised in a creative environment, he was exposed early on to a wide range of artistic influences—from music and painting to digital media. This foundation naturally led him to explore his own creative outlets, including skateboarding, guitar, and digital art, all of which continue to shape his artistic perspective today.

After earning a degree in art, Miles found himself searching for a medium that fully captured both his technical ability and creative drive. That pursuit led him to tattooing—an art form that blends precision, expression, and human connection. In 2015, he began his apprenticeship at a tattoo shop in North Dallas, where he spent three and a half years building a strong foundation in technique, discipline, and craftsmanship. He later continued and completed his apprenticeship in Arlington, Texas, further refining his skills and artistic voice.

Miles’ journey has taken him through several respected studios across the Dallas area, each contributing to his growth as an artist. Working alongside talented and experienced tattooers allowed him to expand his techniques, develop his style, and deepen his commitment to the craft. With each step, his passion for tattooing has only grown stronger.

Today, Miles proudly calls Formula Tattoo in Addison, Texas his home. Surrounded by a team of skilled artists, he continues to push his creative boundaries while delivering high-quality, meaningful work to every client. Dedicated to both artistry and professionalism, Miles is committed to creating tattoos that not only look exceptional but also carry lasting personal significance.
